This garden is named after its local town because of a marvelous stone, which rises over thirsty metres sharply into the sky. The most wonderful thing about it is that it stands only on its tiny tip at the bottom like a pagoda upside down. About one hundred paces away is an equally huge stone figure. It was carved whole out of a single stone.




	Shen Garden is one of the most famous ancient private gardens in the middle of Yue Kindom. It is made up of three sections. A great ancient poet called LuYou once lived here and composed many of his great master pieces here. One of the poet’s greatest poems was first written on the wall of this garden. It was a love piece, showing the poet’s great affection for his cousin. The garden is of a typical pattern of the style of Han Dynasty.

	Miles away from the city of Shaoxing, there are a group of ancient buildings. The orange coloured temple is located on the green Huiji Hill. Its irregular locations and different shapes make a perfect whole. It was built in honor of an ancient emperor, who successfully planned and organized projects protecting floods which benefited all the people. It was said when the king was inspecting the Yue Emperor, he fell ill and died there.
